St. Clair County Circuit Clerk
Information Regarding Online Services for the St. Clair County Circuit Clerk’s Office in Response to COVID-19

The Circuit Clerk’s Office remains open at this time with limited staff to continue to serve the Courts and the community with essential services.  However, out of concern for the health and well-being of courthouse staff and our community, the St. Clair County Circuit Clerk’s Office hopes to reduce in-person visits by asking court patrons to utilize online services as much as possible.  Reducing the number of people visiting the courthouse will help lessen the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.

The St. Clair County Circuit Clerk’s Office online services include:

  • Pleas of Guilty and Electronic Payments: Pleas of guilty (on cases that do not require a court appearance) and electronic payments on outstanding fines and fees may be made through the Circuit Clerk’s website at www.circuitclerk.co.st-clair.il.us.  Mail in payments are still accepted at P.O. Box 691, Belleville, IL 62222.

  • Court Record Search: The Circuit Clerk’s website may be used to access all (civil and criminal) court dates.  As court cases are continued and the Court resets the matters, please check our website.

  • Forms: The Circuit Clerk’s website provides many frequently used court forms.  The forms are in pdf format, fillable and available for download to your computer.

Court patrons may contact the Circuit Clerk’s Office at 618-825-2334.  Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with the exception of holidays.
